I felt nervous that my team might lose this game. We had goosebumps especially me. We began with warming - up then had our prayer.
<br />
<br />Firstly Mele and Pam(coach and manager) discussed the Year 8 position. I was WD(Wing Defense). I felt cold outside but excited inside. We began.My opponent was nervous and shivering too.We waited for the bell.
<br />
<br />Secondly the whistle blew, and the game began. I could hear the supporters were cheering, shouting and laughing. First Quarter, Second Quarter went passed. Then LIGHTNING. “Aargggh!” I shouted. We were then sent to the veranda. Shivering and shaking, I felt goosebumps.

<br />Doing homework is practising what’s being learnt in class during the day. More practise makes perfect. Homework improves children’s learning. The more you practise you will get better results in tests at school.
<br />
<br />First, homework is a way of letting parents know about what we learn at school. If parents are interested in their children’s learning, they would check their children’s homework . It is a bridge that joint school and homes. Parents can support their children in their learning.
<br />
<br />Secondly, homework should be taken home regularly. Children wouldn’t be watching T.V or playing games, if they had homework. Nor sitting around. If children cared about their learning they would do it.
<br />
<br />I think homework is important, because it’s good for your child’s education and ability of learning. Children can gain alot of knowledge and good understanding into their computers(brain) and succeed in a test. Therefore, teachers should give homework to the children regularly.</span></b></span></span><div style="background-color: transparent; margin-top: 0px; margin-left: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-right: 0px; "><span style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; font-style: italic; font-variant: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline; white-space: pre-wrap; "></span></div>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-256808605141029161.post-20235493874456286402011-07-06T10:00:00.000+12:002011-07-08T15:48:00.349+12:00Measurement<br />

I learnt that the image of God in the Scripture reading of Psalm 103: 13, was the image of God the Father.<br /><br /><table id="internal-source-marker_0.8088246760570513"><tbody><tr style="height: 0px;"><td style="border: 1px dotted rgb(170, 170, 170); vertical-align: top; padding: 7px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Scripture References</span></td><td style="border: 1px dotted rgb(170, 170, 170); vertical-align: top; padding: 7px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Images</span></td></tr><tr style="height: 0px;"><td style="border: 1px dotted rgb(170, 170, 170); vertical-align: top; padding: 7px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Psalm 103 : 13</span></td><td style="border: 1px dotted rgb(170, 170, 170); vertical-align: top; padding: 7px;"><span style="font-size: 18pt; font-family: Arial; color: rgb(0, 0, 0); background-color: transparent; font-weight: normal; font-style: normal; text-decoration: none; vertical-align: baseline;">Father</span></td></tr></tbody></table>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-256808605141029161.post-77525050581427321062011-05-20T10:06:00.003+12:002011-05-20T10:13:02.037+12:00Long Subtraction and Addition<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lojQoKWKxgQ/TdWUglugksI/AAAAAAAAAAk/FSrCWnZW0CM/s1600/Screenshot.png"><img style="float: left; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 158px;" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-lojQoKWKxgQ/TdWUglugksI/AAAAAAAAAAk/FSrCWnZW0CM/s320/Screenshot.png" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5608552198563730114" border="0" /></a>Today the site that I went on was a great way to help me in solving long subtraction and addition. I was so nervous in the first race. Everyone was competitive and wanted to win. As I was about to run I felt an adrenaline pumping through my body, sweat rushing down my back. I ran like a civilian fleeing from a war bomb.<br />
<br />
The 800m race was scary. My heart pumped rapidly. It was beating fast and faster. “Go!” shouted Mr Gaffney. I started sprinting, it was still pumping but it didn’t stop. Boom, boom, boom, i could feel it. We ran twice round, but then Ofa caught up and I started to jog. Ofa then sprinted to the finish line. Oh well bad luck for me. I was tricked.<br />
<br />
At least I came 2nd. But coming 1st was my aim. Better luck next time I thought. I congratulated Ofa with a hug. “Congratulations Ofa” I said. “Thanks Liz”, she replied. I was disappointed. At least I tried. What a day.</span></b>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-256808605141029161.post-81614594806102188662011-04-15T09:25:00.005+12:002011-04-16T22:03:50.719+12:00My Prayer - Station of the cross<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CDymefvphgA/Tadsyf847FI/AAAAAAAAAAM/FJzWyLkDqos/s1600/jesus_christ.jpg" onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5595560676857277522" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-CDymefvphgA/Tadsyf847FI/AAAAAAAAAAM/FJzWyLkDqos/s320/jesus_christ.jpg" style="cursor: pointer; float: left; height: 224px; margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; width: 166px;" /></a><span style="font-size: 180%;"><span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms'; font-style: italic;">Dear Heavenly Father,</span> <span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms'; font-style: italic;">Thank you for giving me life to live. </span> <span style="font-family: 'trebuchet ms'; font-style: italic;">I'm sorry for the sins I've done through what I say, think, and do. We couldn't stop chatting about this project. There was excitement all over the room, we were all waiting impatiently for our little netbook. “Yes i got it!”, I said. I couldn't follow Ms G instruction, but i just wanted to log on. The big countdown. "How boring!" I said. But that was the only way to log on. We pressed the power button simultaneously.<br />
<br />
It was like the bestest moment of my class time. All of us couldn’t stop talking, shaking because it was like a light that lit up the room full of happiness. I felt fortunate. I counted myself as one lucky person. Receiving this project really means something to me, but I know I’ll use it wisely.<br />
<br />
What an experience I had with it. A great opportunity. Instead I’m grateful and thankful I had that opportunity.</b></span>Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com0
